The Asian Conference on Psychology & the Behavioral Sciences (ACP) is now in its tenth year and is held annually alongside The Asian Conference on Ethics, Religion & Philosophy (ACERP). Since 2009 more than 2000 delegates have attended this annual interdisciplinary event, which takes place in Japan in the spring.
In 2017 ACP/ACERP attracted 251 attendees representing 33 countries – a truly international event. This diversity serves as a wonderful comparative and contrastive resource.

The majority of ACP/ACERP conference attendees are university faculty, with 32.3% holding an academic post. At 34.4% of the total registered delegates, postgraduate and doctoral students make up the next largest group of attendees. The remaining attendees come from the business sector (4.2%) and the public sector (0.5%), with 3.3% registered as "independent" and 25.4% registered as "other".
